Common questions

How is WPM counted?

By the international convention, 5 characters/units = 1 word. Gross WPM counts everything typed; net WPM removes errors — exams judge net WPM. On this site a Bengali conjunct (like ক্ষ) counts as one unit.

Which keyboard layout should I practice on?

This site works with any layout — Avro, Bijoy, Gboard, Ridmik. Government exams typically use the Bijoy layout, but always check the rules in your own recruitment circular.

Are these standards final?

No. They are sourced from recruitment-circular-based references and primary verification is still in progress. The latest circular for your post is always authoritative — read it before applying.

Where is my progress stored?

Only in your own browser. There are no accounts and nothing is sent to any server.
